Design: Designing your challenge course is the beginning of a great adventure! Time spent here will benefit your program by producing a well-designed course that can meet a variety of program needs. Installation: Quality installation will result in a course that meets and often exceeds industry standards. This will result in a manageable program for you, and a memorable experience for your participants. Courses Designed and Installed by New Frontiers: Tree Courses: Tree courses provide shade in the summer as well as a unique environment. We take care in the planning and design of your tree course for tree health and program excitement. Tree courses are less expensive to build up front but require more upkeep costs. Pole Courses: If you are concerned about tree health, tree course longevity or trees are not an option then a pole course may be your solution. challenge courses can be constructed using utility poles which gives flexibility in location, and uniqueness of design. Pole courses will also save on long term maintenance because there is no tree overgrowth of hardware. Climbing Towers: Climbing towers can have multiple designs to accommodate your specific needs. Walls can be built with varied features to increase levels of difficulty, stair access to increase the variety of clients who can participate. And a variety of anchors for differing belay systems. Challenge elements from the tower, such as a zipline or rappelling features are also options. Towers may vary in the number of climbs and height and are custom built to your site specifications and budget. Most towers are be between 40 and 60’ high, and have two to three climbs per side. Lightweight, attractive handholds are used on these walls and are colored to your specifications. Removables are also used to prevent unauthorized use. Indoor Walls: Indoor walls are a good option if you need year round options or run your programs inside a facility. Indoor walls can be designed with inclines, overhangs, columns and depending on space limitations can have multiple belay options. Indoor Walls can be installed on a variety of surfaces. Finishes for indoor walls can be designed along a wide range of products and budget requirements. Simple wood or metal framework covered with plywood is one option. The plywood can be surfaced with a textured mix to enhance the rock look and feel or prefabricated panels may be used. Lightweight, attractive handholds are used on these walls and are colored to your specifications. Removables are also used to prevent unauthorized use. |
